What will I learn?
These courses are designed to equip you with knowledge and skills for a career in the management of philanthropic and nonprofit organizations.
Skills critical to nonprofit management, such as problem solving, creative thinking, negotiation, ethical practices, teamwork, leadership, and networking and information management are incorporated into the teaching, learning and assessment. The courses can be tailored to meet your particular interests.
Upon enrolling in this course, it is compulsory for students to attend the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS) orientation and intensive weekend at the Gardens Point Campus of QUT. During this weekend students will participate in a specialized orientation program and also attend the first lectures of available units.
QUT is Master of Business has been redesigned to ensure it meets the new quality assurance standards set by the Australian Qualifications Framework for masters by coursework programs. The learning outcomes of the course have been refreshed to provide you with a more engaging and real world learning experience.

You will build skills and knowledge relevant to the specialized third sector and core content is framed by the international Nonprofit Academic Centers Council curriculum.
In undertaking this study area you will also acquire knowledge and skills that are critical to nonprofit management, such as problem solving, creative thinking, negotiation, ethical practices, stakeholder communication, teamwork, leadership, networking, and funding and information management. You will also benefit from being part of an active research centre, ACPNS, which is engaged in current research across nonprofit law, accounting, social enterprise, governance, philanthropy, fundraising and other areas.

Whether you work in a nonprofit organisation, are a public sector manager whose service delivery is through or partnered with nonprofit organisations, or are a private sector manager who engages in business with the nonprofit sector, this course can help build professional knowledge and skills relevant to the sector.

Entry Requirement From Vietnam

Other English Language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) overall score of 64 with no sub-score less than 58; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) score of 58; Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) Overall Grade C1.


Entry Requirement For International Student

Students must have completed a recognized Bachelor Degree (or higher) in any discipline with a grade point average of 4.0 (on a 7 point scale). For 1.5 year program - Students must have completed a recognized bachelor degree (or higher) in the field of philanthropy and non-profit studies with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale).
English Language Requirements:
Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) overall score is 64 and no sub-score less than 58, Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) overall score is 58, Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) overall Grade is C1. Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Australia.
