What will I learn?
Taught by Deakin College and Deakin University's English Language Institute (DUELI), Deakin University offers the Masters Qualifying Program (Business and Law). This non-award program is designed to provide a quality pathway to Deakin University's postgraduate programs in Business. Successful completion of this course allows you to meet the University's English language requirements for postgraduate study. This course is available to international students only.
The PQP comprises of four units. Students must complete two units drawn from the relevant discipline area and two units of English language and academic skills instruction in one trimester of study.
Instruction for all units is classroom based. Four hours of teaching per week are allocated to each unit: a two hour lecture followed by a two hour tutorial.

All applicants must provide documentation of their completed undergraduate degree (a bachelor's degree or its equivalent) from a regionally accredited institution prior to matriculation. (Applicants who have not completed their bachelor's degree by the time they submit their application for admission may be admitted to CMU Australia with the condition they submit their final transcript, including their date of graduation, prior to the start of their first semester at CMU Australia.)
Students must have completion of three year post-secondary study qualification (equivalent to post-year 12).
Other English Language requirements: An overall band score of 6 or better in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test (Academic module) with no individual band score less than 6 (or equivalent).
