What will I learn?
The Notre Dame School of Law has received enormous support from the legal profession. Judges, senior barristers and leading solicitors have combined to draw up a Law curriculum that is intensely challenging and highly practical. The School of Law continues to call on prominent members of the profession to assist in teaching, adding further to the highly practical nature of legal education at Notre Dame.
The School of Business is committed to preparing students for a changing business environment. Students are provided with an experience that will not only equip them with the knowledge, skills and abilities for a future career, but also a practical professional experience. In keeping with this overall philosophy, our lecturers are specifically selected for their extensive practical experience in the relevant sphere of study. Our graduating students are fast developing the reputation of being significantly "work ready" when entering the workforce.
The Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Marketing & Public Relations double degree has been structured in a manner that allows it to be completed over five years with a strong emphasis on ethics, practical legal learning and the concepts of duty, social function and service to others, as dictated by the Objects of the University.
The combination of these degrees allows students to develop their skills and knowledge in Marketing and Public Relations while focusing on it within a context of Law. It is also available in part-time study mode.
Accreditation:
The Legal Practice Board of Western Australia accredits Law programs taught at Notre Dame.
Career Opportunities:
The Bachelor of Laws at Notre Dame is a fully accredited Australian law degree, permitting graduates to seek admission to the legal profession after the completion of an articled clerkship or an accredited practical legal training program. The Bachelor of Laws degree does not limit graduates to a career in law. Many employers see the qualification as a very good broad degree and excellent training for a wide variety of careers.

Entry Requirement From Vietnam

Applicants must have completed a minimum of a Certificate IV qualification from a Registered Training Organization (RTO); Successful completed units from other tertiary institutions; Physiotherapy and Law courses require at least one year of an undergraduate degree course with 65% or above average pass marks or minimum ATAR of 90 or equivalent. English Language Requirements accepted: IELTS (Academic) Overall result (Lowest Sub Score): 6.5 (6.0); TOEFL (IB): 90; CAE/CPE: 176; PTE (Academic): 61.


Entry Requirement For International Student

Mature age minimum academic entry requirements:
• Six to twelve months equivalent full-time study load of strong performance (65% or more) in an undergraduate degree, taken at Notre Dame or at an alternative university.
• Mature-age completion of four Year 12 WACE exams with a resulting ATAR of 90
School leaver minimum academic entry requirements:
• Indicative minimum ATAR of 90
• Other approved scores as indicated by the University
School leaver prospective students are encouraged to study English Literature, History, Politics and Law and LOTE in Year 12.
English language requirement:
IELTS (Academic) Overall result (Lowest Sub Score): 8.0 (7.5); TOEFL (IB):111; Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE)/Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 200; PTE (Academic): 79.
