What will I learn?
This course is designed to provide graduates with training in sport and exercise nutrition which will equip them for future careers in research, teaching in higher education, in industry, or in applied sports nutrition support. It is not a substitute for a diatetics qualification. It provides an opportunity to gain in depth understanding of the nutritional and metabolic demands of exercise, of the interactions between diet, exercise and health, and of how nutrition influences sports performance.
This programme is available for part-time applicants who have a pre-arranged, confirmed placement (e.g. with the Loughborough University Sports Development Centre, Sport National Governing Body, English Institute of Sport etc).
