Cement your career in the building and construction industry with a Certificate III in Bricklaying/Block laying. This course is ideal if you love working outdoors, have good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work neatly and accurately.
A hands-on course to lay the foundation for your career
The Certificate III in Bricklaying/Block laying is a practical course providing you with the training to ensure that you ill be an asset to any employer. You will gain essential skills and knowledge in:
levelling
laying bricks and blocks
general demolition
veneer construction
structural masonry
arch design and construction
fireplace construction.
Apprentices will be signed to a negotiated training plan within four weeks of Delta being received, and training will start within the following eight weeks.
Employment outcomes
Completion of this course will enable you to find employment as a bricklayer or block layer on a range of building sites, domestic and commercial as a qualified tradesperson.
Pathways to further study
Successful completion of this course means you can progress in your career by enrolling in the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) followed by the Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).

Entry Requirement From Vietnam

The minimum academic requirements for admission to a postgraduate or graduate entry degree is the completion of a bachelor's degree which is deemed equivalent to an Australian bachelor's degree by the University's qualification assessment references. Applicants may also be required to satisfy specific course requirements such as a minimum overall grade score, prerequisite knowledge or work experience. Applicants must have successfully completed the equivalent of an Australian honours degree or master's degree. Other English language requirements accepted: Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) - A minimum overall score of 176 with no skill below 169 or Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic module - A minimum overall score of 58 with no score lower than 50.


Entry Requirement For International Student

Students must have the following:
Academic: Australian Year 12 equivalency
English: Academic IELTS 5.5 with no individual band below 5.0, Pearson PTE Academic 42 overall with no individual communicative skill below 36, or recognised equivalency
