Courses Overview

What will I learn?
Podiatrists are health professionals who deal with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs.

Your education and training will explore a variety of health sciences topics such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology and psychology, pediatrics, biomechanics, musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, pharmacology and surgery.

You will also develop podiatry-specific skills, enabling you to graduate work ready.

Practical learning experiences are integral to the course, and you will benefit from completing clinical placements at the newly established, purpose-built Allied Health Clinic at CQUniversity, as well as in a variety of external clinical settings, so you can put your learning into practice and gain real-life experience.

You are required to complete 31 core units.

Entry Requirement From Vietnam

Other English Language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) Overall score of 54 with no score less than 46; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English Overall test score of 169 (with no individual band score of less than 154).

Entry Requirement For International Student

Students must have successful completion of the equivalent of an Australian Year 12.
Other English language requirement: Minimum academic IELTS of 7.0 with no individual band score less than 7.0 or an Occupational English Test (OET) result of A or B. Students with an outstanding academic record may on a case-by-case basis be admitted with slightly lower English scores.
