What will I learn?
By combining journalism studies with business training, you will develop a deep understanding of the application of print and digital media in business and industry, and graduate with a unique skill set that will give you an edge in the employment market.
In the journalism component, you will develop advanced analytical, communication and decision-making skills. You will complete a range of journalism courses, developing research and writing skills appropriate to media professions with special emphasis on print, radio, television and online journalism.
Through the Bachelor of Business you will gain a solid foundation in all aspects of business and develop an understanding of the social, cultural and political dimensions of business. You will enhance this knowledge with further expertise and experience in your areas of interests.

You will be prepared for work in all forms of the media specialising in business, including digital media, newspapers, radio, television and magazines. You will find opportunities for a career as a reporter, producer, subeditor or manager.

English Language Requirements accepted: A minimum overall band score of 6.5 on IELTS (Academic) with no sub-score of less than 6.0; an internet-based (iBT) TOEFL score of 79 (no sub-score less than 19); a minimum score of 575 on TOEFL; or no score less than 3+ in each skill of the ISLPR (conducted by ISLPR Language Services only);or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): Minimum grade of C on the or a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): Minimum grade of C on the or Pearson Test of English (Academic): Overall score of 58 with no score less than 50.
An International student is a person who is not an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident or holder of an Australian Permanent Humanitarian visa.
English language requirements apply to International applicants and other applicants whose previous study was undertaken in a language other than English. The minimum English language requirements for such applicants for entry to this program are as follows:
