What will I learn?
Discover the inner workings of business management. In Industrial Relations you ill study the relationship between management and labour and how it is shaped and influenced by government institutions, employers, employees and the unions. In Human Resource Management you ill learn how to develop techniques and programs to engage a highly committed and capable workforce to operate in the global business world. You ill learn about the complexity of organisational relationships and develop the skills you need to analyse situations, facilitate interaction and negotiate joint action within.
During your first year of the Bachelor of Commerce you ill complete common core units which will provide an introduction to the various aspects of business. You do not need to make a final decision on a single or combined major until your second semester.
High achieving students may complete an additional honours year enabling them to undertake their own significant research project.
