What will I learn?
Study the Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety and equip yourself with professional skills to enhance your employability. Your studies will equip you with knowledge, skills and initiatives in the areas of occupational hygiene, workplace rehabilitation, ergonomics, safety and occupational health and safety management.
The Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety is designed to develop your expertise in the identification of occupational health and safety hazards in the workplace.

Your studies will equip you with knowledge, skills and initiatives in the areas of occupational hygiene, workplace rehabilitation, ergonomics, safety and occupational health and safety management.

In addition you will have the option to select from a wide variety of electives to suit your personal needs and interests.

Your training will include decision making, problem solving and management skills that are highly desired by employers.

The course provides you with a variety of hands-on experiences, including participation in worksite visits and 120 hours of work placement, ensuring you graduate work ready.

Upon completion you will be prepared to facilitate, educate and promote health and safety in the workplace.

You are required to complete a total of 24 units, comprising of 20 core units and four elective units from your chosen stream:

Liberal Studies
Population Health
Safety Science

Entry Requirement From Vietnam

Other English Language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) Overall score of 54 with no score less than 46; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English Overall test score of 169 (with no individual band score of less than 154).

Students must have successful completion of the equivalent of an Australian Year 12.
