Dementia is the third leading cause of death in Australia, highlighting the need for skilled personnel who are capable of providing quality care to persons with dementia.
The Graduate Certificate in Dementia Studies focuses on issues surrounding dementia and provides insights into the impact of dementia both nationally and globally.
The Graduate Certificate in Dementia Studies requires completion of four units.

Applicants must have a successfully completed the equivalent of an Australian undergraduate degree. Other English Language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) score of 62 with no score less than 54; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English Overall test score of 176 (with no individual band score of less than 169).
Students must have successful completion of a bachelor is degree with the equivalent to an Australian pass grade average in the final two terms, from a recognised Higher Education institution. Other entry pathways such as relevant work experience and/or a combination of qualifications may also be considered.
Other English language requirements: IELTS Academic - 6.0 with no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL Internet-based - Overall score of 75 with no score less than 17; Pearson Test of English Academic - Overall score of 50 with no score less than 42.
