What will I learn?
The International Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management provides students with a more in-depth knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry. It is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to successfully manage and supervise the operations of a hospitality and tourism business. Upon the successful completion of the theory-based modules, students will be placed on the industrial attachment programme where they will put the knowledge acquired into practice.
Combination of lectures, tutorials and workshops in a classroom environment at Informatics Academy campus. Lessons are typically in blocks of 3-hour sessions.
Upon successful completion of the International Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management awarded by Informatics Academy, the student is eligible to apply for a Bachelor Degree programme in Hospitality discipline.

Applicants must satisfy the following for the required programs: Commerce and Law: BCom = Maths (HL, SL & Maths Method) Grade 4-7. BAccSc = Maths (HL, SL & Maths Method) Grade 5-7. BEconSc = Maths (HL, SL & Maths Method) Grade 6-7. Law = Pass in English and Maths; Engineering and the Built Environment: Engineering = Maths (HL, SL & Maths Method), English & Physics 5-7 (SL) 4-7 (HL), Built Environment = Maths (HL, SL & Maths Method & English); Humanities: Pass in English Language. BA Law & Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Therapy including pass in Maths (HL, SL or Maths Method); Health Science: Dental Science: English, Maths, Biology and Physics and Chemistry - Grade 5-7 (SL) and Grade 4-7 (HL); Science: Maths and Physics (as per degree requirements) HL, SL & Maths Method Grade 4-7. Other English Language Requirements: A pass in an examination equivalent to English at the Higher Grade (First or Second Language) at the South African matriculation level (or, for certain immigrants only, English at the Standard Grade [First Language] plus an A-level pass in the immigrant s home language); A pass in English Language at the GCSE/GCE/IGSCE Ordinary level (or equivalent examination.

Academic Qualifications: International Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management awarded by Informatics Academy or other equivalent qualification deemed acceptable by Informatics Academy.
English Language requirement:
They also have GCE O i Level - C6, IELTS - Min score of 5.5 OR, TOEFL (PBT) - Min score of 513 OR, TOEFL (iBT) - Min score of 65 OR, Informatics Certificate in Proficiency in English.
