What will I learn?
This course is designed for educators or those working in educational contexts who wish to pursue further studies in a specialised area. It will not lead to a teaching qualification.
The Master of Education (Coursework) enables teachers and educators to develop their scholarship and expertise further. The course enhances career advancement opportunities as a teaching professional or leader, education administrator, researcher or policy maker.
Allied School Psychology
This course is designed for educators or those working in educational contexts who wish to pursue further studies in the area of school psychology. It will not lead to a teaching qualification or psychology registration.
The aim of this specialisation is to develop school leaders in the area of inclusion, differentiation, assessment and intervention who can support the work of system level registered educational psychologists

Language and Literacy Education
This advanced education course will enable students to enhance professional knowledge and pedagogical practices, and to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of recent research.
Students with a postgraduate qualification in Education may apply for credit and complete the degree in less time.

Which department am I in? Faculty of Education and Arts
Applicants must hold the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor's degree with a pass average. Individual courses may have specific requirements. Other English language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 61 with a minimum of 50 in all four communicative skills; or ACU English Language Test with Grade B (65-74%).
Applicants must have completed an equivalent of an Australian Bachelor Degree in Education, or first degree in an area other than Education plus a Graduate Diploma in Education.
English language requirements:
IELTS score of 7.0 individual score of: 6.0 in all tests, TOEFL Internet based total of 100: minimum 21 in writing, 18 in speaking, 20 in reading and 19 in listening, Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 68 with a minimum of 50 in all four communicative skills, ACU English Language Test score of B (75-100%).
