What will I learn?
This course is designed for educators or those working in educational contexts who wish to pursue further studies in a specialised area. It will not lead to a teaching qualification.
The Master of Education (Coursework) enables teachers and educators to develop their scholarship and expertise further. The course enhances career advancement opportunities as a teaching professional or leader, education administrator, researcher or policy maker.
Literacy Intervention
The aim of this specialisation is to provide educators with opportunities to further develop their theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in relation to the assessment of primary students i oral language and literacy skills as well as to enhance their skills in providing appropriate evidence-based adjustments and interventions. Given ongoing concerns about the literacy of students in Australian schools, there is a continuing need for teachers and allied professionals to engage with current perspectives on oral language development and literacy research and practice.

Entry Requirement From Vietnam

Applicants must hold the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor's degree with a pass average. Individual courses may have specific requirements. Other English language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 61 with a minimum of 50 in all four communicative skills; or ACU English Language Test with Grade B (65-74%).

Entry Requirement For International Student

Applicants must have completed an equivalent of an Australian Bachelor Degree in Education, or first degree in an area other than Education plus a Graduate Diploma in Education.
English language requirements:
IELTS score of 7.0 individual score of: 6.0 in all tests, TOEFL Internet based total of 100: minimum 21 in writing, 18 in speaking, 20 in reading and 19 in listening, Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 68 with a minimum of 50 in all four communicative skills, ACU English Language Test score of B (75-100%).
