The course includes 125 days of planned teaching practice in secondary schools plus other opportunities for you to apply theoretical knowledge in practical ways. You will also develop the skills required to teach effectively in a wide range of contemporary educational settings.

During your studies, you will choose two teaching disciplines to focus on, such as accounting, biology (including year 7 - 10 science), business, chemistry (including year 7 to 10 science), English, geography, health and physical education (including year 7 - 10 HPE and year 11 - 12 physical education), history, home economics and hospitality, industrial technology and design and mathematics.
Program Structure
To graduate with a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) you are required to complete 30 units, including core educational studies and 12 units in two chosen discipline teaching areas (six units per discipline teaching area).

On completion of a Bachelor of Education (Secondary), you will be qualified to teach two specialist areas within secondary schools to Year 12. Like most professions, teaching has specific workforce demands and sometimes oversupply. Entry Requirement From Vietnam

Other English Language Requirements accepted: Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) Overall score of 54 with no score less than 46; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English Overall test score of 169 (with no individual band score of less than 154).


Entry Requirement For International Student

Students must have successful completion of the equivalent of an Australian Year 12.
Other English language requirements: Minimum academic IELTS score of 7.5 across all four with no individual score of less than 7 in any of the four skills areas and no individual score of less than 8 in speaking and listening.
