Courses Overview

What will I learn?
Learn how companies, government and households work with a focus on financial markets and institutions. In Banking, you ill study the developments of the financial sector and learn about the field of economics. You ill develop a working knowledge of the Australian banking and financial system with a broad perspective of the environment of business.
In Finance, you ill gain an understanding of the structure and operations of financial markets in management. You ill learn about investment evaluation, decide how to fund activities, and understand the roles played by financial markets and instruments.
What the course involves
During your first year of the Bachelor of Commerce you ill complete common core units which will provide an introduction to the various aspects of business. You do not need to make a final decision on a single or combined major until your second semester.
