Entry requirements

The University of Notre Dame Australia requires applicants to achieve minimum academic and English language proficiency requirements. This ensures that applicants are sufficiently competent in the English language, allowing them to participate effectively in their chosen programme and achieve the expected programme outcomes.
Applicants can demonstrate their English language proficiency by completing an English language test or through previous secondary or tertiary study as outlined at the English language proficiency requirements page.
Notre Dame also offers an English language programme for international students. Upon successful completion of Notre Dame is Academic English Bridging Program, no further English language testing will be required to meet Notre Dame is English language proficiency requirements, except where required by an accrediting body.

The University of Notre Dame Australia is a leading institution in Australia, with campuses in Sydney, Perth and Broome. There are also an additional seven Clinical Schools in New South Wales and Victoria, which are part of its School of Medicine. The University prides itself on providing a personalised learning experience for each student.
Students are given plenty of opportunities to gain professional work experience during their studies, and can take advantage of the many industry partners at Notre Dame, allowing for them to gain work experience and build up contacts for their future career. Scholarships & funding

Undergraduate Merit Scholarships
The University of Notre Dame Australia offers a number of International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships for high achieving students from selected countries. The University promotes the importance of a culturally diverse student body and supports students to study at either the Sydney or Fremantle Campus.
This scholarship waives 20% of annual tuition fees for up to a maximum of three years in programs in the Schools of Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Health Sciences, Law, and Philosophy & Theology.

The Cancer Detection Centre for Women Research Scholarship
This Scholarship encourages and supports medical research training in the area of women is health, and provides financial support to postgraduate students with exceptional research promise to pursue a career in medical research. The term of this research scholarship is up to two years for Master by Research recipients and three years for Doctor of Philosophy recipients.

The University of Notre Dame Australia excels in Federal Government student survey
The University of Notre Dame Australia has outperformed the nation is 40 other universities - both private and public - to claim top spot for providing a quality educational experience in a nationwide student survey commissioned by the Federal Government.
Findings of the 2017 Student Experience Survey (SES) showed that Notre Dame is the top rated university in Australia for Overall Quality of Educational Experience i with a 91.1% rating - an increase of close to 2% from last year - and well above the national average of 79.3%.
Results show Notre Dame rated first in WA and NSW for Overall Graduate Satisfaction i, Teaching Scale i, Skills Scale i, and Median Salary i. Notre Dame rated first in WA in two further categories Full-time Employment i and Overall Employment i.
Professor Celia Hammond, Notre Dame Vice Chancellor, said that the survey results reflect the commitment and passion of all involved with the University to the provision of an excellent educational experience for each student.

Aurora Native Title Internship Program

The Aurora Native Title Internship Program places law, anthropology and other social science (archaeology, cultural heritage, environmental management,  human geography, history and sociology) students and graduates from Australian universities at Native Title Representative Bodies (NTRBs) and other organisations involved in policy development, social justice and Indigenous affairs.
