Step 1
Students must choose their course. They must choose from the list of courses listed on the Academies Australasia website, taking into account the campus offering the course. Note that courses are not offered in all campuses.

Course Admission Requirements
Vocational Education and Training
Students must complete Year 11 or equivalent certificate of senior secondary education.
Bachelor Degrees
Students must complete Year 12 or equivalent certificate of senior secondary education.
English Language Requirements
For most courses at Academies Australasia, students are required to meet a minimum of IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent. The following courses require higher level of English prior to entry:
Certificate III in Health Services requires IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no band score less than 6.0 or equivalent;
Diploma and Advance Diploma of Nursing require IELTS Academic score of 7.0 with no band score less than 7.0 or equivalent;
Higher education courses require IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5.
If the level of English is insufficient, a suitable course can be organised with one of the Academies Australasia English colleges operating in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Singapore.
Age Requirements
For courses offered by Academies Australasia Polytechnic and Skills Training Australia, students must be at least 18 years of age to start studying.
Step 3
International students must submit their completed application form, accompanied by supporting documents.
Step 4
As part of the admissions process, students maybe interviewed. If the application is successful, students will be sent an Offer Letter and Student Agreement offering them a place in the course in the specified campus. On receipt of the Offer Letter and upon signing the Student Agreement, students will need to pay their tuition fees and the Overseas Student Health Cover (if applicable).
International students must provide payment for their Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) or proof of existing OSHC before their enrolment can be confirmed. Academies Australasia can arrange their Health Cover if they need.
Step 5
On receipt of the fees, students will be emailed an official Confirmation of Enrolment. This confirmation is needed to apply for a student visa. All international students must apply for and obtain a student visa from an appropriate Australian Government office before leaving for Australia.
