Adult Multicultural Education Services (AMES) was established in the year 1951 as a private educational institution. It provides adult education, training and employment programs through its college that is located in Melbourne, Victoria. The Institution enrols over 40000 people every year. Some of the programs that are offered are the Learn English program, Certificate in Small Business Management program, and the Adult Migrant English Programme. Additionally the College also offers the Special Preparatory Program for young people with interrupted schooling and of refugee background.
