Faculty of Education and Arts
The Faculty of Education and Arts hosts the National School of Education, the National School of Arts, and three vibrant, multidisciplinary research institutes. With a strong focus on career building, the faculty offers students the opportunity to build networks through industry engagements, internships, research opportunities and international study throughout their degrees.
Faculty of Health Sciences
Located across six of ACU is campuses, the Faculty of Health Sciences is one of the largest faculties of its kind in Australia. It prepares highly qualified graduates in the areas of biomedical science and/or science, counselling, exercise science, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology, public health, social work, and speech pathology.
Its strong links with health care partners around Australia provide students opportunities for clinical placements, community engagement projects and future employment.
Faculty of Law and Business
The Faculty of Law and Business offers a suite of degrees in disciplines including law, accounting, finance, IT, marketing, event management and human resource management. It is known for its job-ready graduates and strong connections with industry.
Faculty of Theology and Philosophy
The Faculty of Theology and Philosophy helps students develop the skills to critically examine complex issues, contextualise different historical and contemporary perspectives, engage with and articulate arguments from a range of viewpoints, as well as develop their academic writing and independent research skills. Entry requirements

Applications from international students are assessed on the basis of their academic qualifications and proficiency in English.
Undergraduate entry is based on the satisfactory completion of the equivalent of 12 years of schooling at a comparable entry level  to domestic student requirements.
Postgraduate entry is normally based on the satisfactory completion of a recognised degree or diploma of at least three years i duration, comparable to an Australian degree or diploma.
Applicants who undertook study in a language other than English will be required to show proficiency in English. The University accepts the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), the Pearson Test of English (PTE), the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the Cambridge Advanced English (CAE).

Library
ACU is campus libraries are a valuable resource that students can use throughout their time at ACU.
These have extensive print and online collections, and offer a range of services. Plus, they are a great place to meet friends, work on group projects, and finish assignments.

Fitness
Students looking to keep fit and healthy can join a gym or take part in one of ACU is fitness programs. There are gym memberships and group fitness classes available at student prices. Classes include boot camp, yoga, boxing and Pilates.
There are over 15 different sport clubs which students will have the chance to get involved in, including cheer, football, netball and many more.

How to apply

International students must:
Verify international student status.
Select a course by consulting the course guide for the latest information. Up to three courses can be applied for.
Check entry requirements. They must check compliance of all course requirements including English language.
Apply through the electronic application form.
Provide documentation as required. If the application to ACU is successful, either a Provisional Letter of Offer or a Letter of Offer will be sent. A Provisional Letter of Offer requires additional information and supporting documentation to be provided.
Send back to ACU the completed Acceptance Form to confirm a place. Upon receipt of fees and signed acceptance, the University will issue an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE).
Apply for a Student Visa online or from the nearest Australian High Commission, Consulate, Embassy or Diplomatic Post. Once the student visa has been approved, travel arrangements need to be finalised. A Pre-Departure Guide will be sent, providing information on everything students need to know for life in Australia.
Arrive in Australia in time for orientation. Students will then be issued their ACU ID and will be able to finalise enrolment.

The Australian Catholic University (ACU) is Australia is foremost Catholic University, and ranks among the top ten Catholic higher education institutions in the world. It holds seven campuses in Australia and one in Rome, Italy.
The University is also ranked in the top ten in Australia for student satisfaction and teaching, as well as being among the top five institutions for skills development across the whole of Australia. 94% of the research undertaken at ACU is ranked at world standard or higher.
Staff at ACU have an outstanding reputation for not only providing a brilliant education, but also for making students from all over the world feel welcome at the institution. ACU takes great pride in having a multi-cultural campus, while still giving their students the best chance of employment after graduation by actively engaging with the industry they are involved in.
There is a focus on hands-on experience, with internships, work experience or volunteer work available in the majority of the degrees on offer at ACU. Scholarships & funding

There are a range of scholarships on offer for international students.
International Student Scholarships
ACU offers these scholarships each year for students starting undergraduate or postgraduate courses. This scholarship cover 50% of the recipients i full-time tuition fees.
Faculty of Law and Business Scholarships
The Peter Faber Business School Scholarship provides a AUD 1,000 tuition fee reduction for one year for postgraduate international students with a prior academic result of 70% or greater.
The Faculty of Law and Business also offer the Peter Faber Business School Community Development Prize. Valued at AUD 2,000, it is open to international undergraduate and postgraduate students. Students need to produce a written submission that demonstrates community service together with academic results in the first year/8 units of study. A selection panel will then make the final decision.
Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (MAAC) Scholarship
The MACC scholarship worth 25% is paid as a tuition waiver for the first year of an ACU postgraduate coursework degree in 2 separate instalments (over the two semesters).
ACU Mercy Scholarship
This scholarship awarded annually as a tuition fee waiver is equivalent to the full tuition of the recipient is course duration up to four years.

ACU St Cecilia Choir Scholarships

AUD $500 Emerging Chorister Scholarship; this is for new ACU; AUD $1000 Established Chorister Scholarship; this is for continuing ACU Student Choir Members.

This scholarship is open to all students who plan to audition for the ACU Student Choir. ACU students who are employed by the University in an ongoing capacity are not eligible for the scholarship. Selection criteria You will be assessed for the scholarship at the same time as you audition for the choir. Auditions will be held at the commencement of each semester. Following auditions, the Campus Choir Director will submit recommendations to the Leadership and Culture Coordinator, for approval by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students, Learning and Teaching). Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of vocal quality, sight reading ability and on your commitment to the choir.
