Entry requirements

To receive an offer letter from Murdoch, students will need to satisfy entry requirements and submit a formal application with specified relevant supporting documents.
Entry requirements vary depending on what course a student wants to study. Students should check the course pages to find out what the unique entry requirements are for their desired course and what qualifications they id need from their home country to be eligible to apply.
The process students must follow to apply to Murdoch University will vary depending on their current circumstances and what course they want to study:
If a student is applying for an undergraduate degree and is from India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Turkey, Vietnam or Zimbabwe, they must complete a Genuine Student Evaluation Form and apply via an agent. Alternatively, if they are from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Kenya, Ghana or Sri Lanka, they must also complete a Genuine Student Evaluation Form, however they can apply either through an agent or online.
If a student wishes to complete an honours or postgraduate course, they can apply directly to Murdoch through the University is online application system. All applicants for honours degrees (apart from those studying Engineering or Psychology honours) will also need to complete and attach an Honours Application form to their application.
If a student wants to apply for a research course, they must first have chosen their topic, found a supervisor and written their proposal before they can apply, at any time during the year, through Murdoch is Graduate Research Office.

*NB: General English Language Requirements exclude admission into the Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Education and the Veterinary Science programme. Western Australia is only operational engineering pilot plant
Murdoch is nationally renowned engineering pilot plant is an engineer is playground. The plant includes advanced control systems using a modern industrial data acquisition and control platform.
A veterinary hospital
The Animal Hospital is a fully functioning surgery and vet facility. It has a working farm, 24-hour pet emergency centre and an equine centre, complete with Western Australia is only operating theatre specifically designed for horses.
Media Arts Centre
The Media Arts Centre houses industry-standard facilities such as a digital TV studio, sound stage, control room, audio studio, four radio studios, as well as a number of editing suites.

As an International student, moving abroad to study can be a daunting task.
That is why Murdoch provide a range of scholarships on offer for commencing and existing International students. Eligible students could receive a scholarship up to the value of AUD11,000.

International Welcome Scholarship
An International Welcome Scholarship can provide between AUD8,000 and AUD11,000 towards a student is tuition fees, if the student is eligible.

Business & Governance
Bachelor of Nursing
The University offers AUD8,000 scholarships for all other eligible courses.
Recipients of these scholarships will have the award amount paid into their student tuition account in four instalments over 2 years.
These scholarships are available for the 2018 and 2019 intake period, for students starting their studies at one of Murdoch is Western Australian campuses. These options are open to students who are citizens of Africa, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China (inclusive of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Middle East, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Qatar, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
Murdoch University Academic Excellence awards
Murdoch University Academic Excellence Awards (MUAEAs) offer students AUD5,000 towards their degree if they have a record of high academic achievement in their previous studies.
Murdoch also provides course specific and research scholarships, with a range of other scholarships and financial aid available in conjunction with the Australian government.

The Sir Walter Murdoch School of Public Policy and International Affairs offers postgraduate qualifications in international affairs, public policy and management, development studies, and health policy and leadership.

Murdoch Law students have ranked among the best in the world after winning a recent international moot competition.
The student team were recently ranked seventh in the world at the Global Finals of the 2017 Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot held at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, United States.
More than 100 teams from law schools around the world competed in this prestigious international event, which focused on issues of international commercial arbitration and investment law.
Murdoch University is Director of Mooting and Competitions, Lorraine Finlay said, The FDI Moot is a prestigious international competition that involves some of the top law schools in the world. For our Murdoch team to do so well in the competition shows just how talented and hard working our students are. It also highlights the quality of our mooting programme at Murdoch, which delivers world-class advocacy training to our students.
The moot was one of my best experiences in the law school. The opportunity to display my skills on a global stage was truly inspiring, said one of the University is students who ranked among the top ten competitors in the event.
