Faculty of Arts and Design
The UC Faculty of Arts & Design is a large and diverse faculty offering programmes that range from the highly conceptual to the deeply practical. Specialised study options cover a variety of areas including urban and environmental design, communication and media, and creative and cultural practice which focuses on film, media, graphics, web designs and creative writing.
Faculty of Business, Government and Law
Businesses, Government & Law  are the primary institutions that shape our world. The interaction between these three institutions, and their impact on society, forms the primary intellectual focus of this faculty with the core areas of academic study including government  and policy, accounting and finance, law and justice, and management.
Faculty of Education
The Education faculty offers new and redeveloped courses specialising in early childhood, primary and secondary education, which is in line with new national requirements for teacher registration. This faculty works closely with professional and industry partners to ensure that all its degree programmes combine the best components of practice, new knowledge, and innovative teaching and learning. All initial teacher education courses at UC have been accredited by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute and are recognised as such across Australia.

The Health faculty trains and educates clinicians, professionals, and researchers in a variety of health-related specialist areas. Eligibility
UC offers a wide variety of courses, from pathway courses to help students gain entry to university; to research and doctorate programmes designed to help students navigate their studies all the way through to the highest-level research degrees.

What to submit
When applying to study at UC, international applicants should include the following supporting documents along with their application:
certified copies of all relevant academic transcripts and award certificates from all their complete or incomplete study
evidence of English proficiency level
evidence of work experience in the form of a current resume and statements of employment which should be an official document from the employer outlining job title, responsibilities and duration of employment (if applicable)
subject or unit outlines from previous study (if seeking credit or advanced standing into their UC course)
If documents are not in English, certified translations in addition to copies of original documents are required.

Bruce Campus 
The Canberra campus, situated in the suburb of Bruce, is a haven of tall native trees and wildlife, despite being only minutes away from Canberra's Civic Centre and boasts a vibrant on-campus life.
With an onsite library, cafes, health clubs, medical centre and more, the Bruce Campus has all your study, research and lifestyle options covered.
Other locations
In addition to the Bruce campus in Canberra, UC also offers students the opportunity to study in: Sydney, Melbourne, in multiple locations throughout Queensland; or internationally in Hong Kong, China and Bhutan. There is also a capacity to study at any of these locations remotely through online study.
Accommodation

The University of Canberra (UC) is located in Bruce, Canberra, Australia, and is ranked among the top 100 young universities by the prestigious 2018 Times Higher Education Young University Rankings. As a capital city, Canberra offers everything from culture, cafes, and sports, to vibrant shopping, community clubs, and exciting nightlife. UC graduates have an 89% employment rate on average have higher starting salaries than many top-performing universities in the country. Students also benefit from flexible study options - including intensive Summer and Winter programmes designed to speed up studies and allow for earlier graduation.
The University campus state-of-the-art facilities include subject-specific laboratories, a well-stocked library, cafe and bar, and numerous large, open lounge spaces for studying. There is also a convenience store, hairdresser, student radio station, health clinic and a highly-respected professional sports and fitness centre, which includes a fully equipped gym.

What's new

UC partners in AUD200m digital health initiative
The Health Research Institute at the University Canberra has recently partnered in a new AUD200 million Digital Health CRC (Cooperative Research Centre) designed to focus on preventing chronic disease, improving health and well-being, and promote efficiency in the health system.
Over the next seven years, the centre will participate in a multi-disciplinary collaboration involving 24 commercial and 16 government organisations operating across the health, aged care, and disability sectors. This group will be made up of a mixture of established and start-up technology, advisory, and investment companies, as well as universities from across Australia.
Director of the University is Health Research Institute, Professor Rachel Davey, will co-lead one of the four work streams Consumer Empowerment and Positive Behaviour i within the programme.
Professor Davey explained that the CRC would enable government agencies, primary health networks, state/territory health departments and industry to make use of the national geospatial health hub to survey and map disease, linking big data i on health risk, health outcomes and health care costs.
Our collective success in this bid reflects our research strengths in areas of public health, disease prevention, health services research, information technology, data science, health econometrics and digital health. Using co-design approaches to increase patient engagement, we will develop novel smart i monitoring devices and digital technology to better engage people with chronic diseases and in putting the consumer at the centre of their own health and wellbeing, Professor Davey said.
The University of Canberra also has a leading role in the development of the Healthy Active Living Lab under the ACT Minister for Health and Wellbeing is new initiative to position Canberra as Australia is centre of excellence for preventive health.
