Industry Scholarships

The amount may be full or partial coverage of the tuition fees and in some cases, a monthly stipend.

This is a limited scholarship from renowned partners and organizations in the industry are available to outstanding students. The scholarship is open to both international applicants and Singapore citizens applying to the Master of Science degree programmes. As there is limited number of industry scholarships, the selection process is very stringent. Industry sponsors will be looking for candidates from the following background: excellent academic results; reputable universities; relevant academic subjects undertaken during their bachelor studies; and previous work experience (advantageous but not the main deciding factor). These may be full or partial coverage of the tuition fees and in some cases, a monthly stipend will be given.

Students who have submitted complete applications (complete refers to submitted online application plus application fee plus hardcopy documents) will be automatically referred to the industry sponsor for their selection upon meeting all the academic and admission requirements of the respective master programme.

TUM Asia and DAAD Scholarships

This Scholarship project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). It is part of the 'German Study Programmes Abroad' programme. Limited numbers of DAAD Scholarships are to be awarded to students with outstanding academic result and good moral character. Upon conferment of the DAAD Scholarship, the awardees will receive a partial financial support for their tuition fee and monthly living stipend during their study with TUM Asia. Selected awardees will a receive scholarship for a period of one semester (six months). Depending on their academic performance per semester, the scholarship can be extended. The total maximum duration of the scholarship award is three semesters (18 months). Eligibility criteria for this Scholarship: good academic results; demonstrated leadership skills and good moral character; active in extracurricular activities and community services involvement; the need of financial assistance to support their study.

These scholarships will lead to a reduction of the tuition fee from 20 per cent - 100 per cent. The number of these scholarships are based on merit and never guaranteed entirely.

The TUM Asia together with Technische Universitat Munchen (TUM) offers limited number of scholarships to students with excellent recommendations, academic and industrial backgrounds. The scholarship will lead to reduction of tuition fee from 20 per cent - 100 per cent. It is open to both international applicants and Singapore citizens applying to the Master of Science degree programmes. The limited number of TUM Asia scholarships will be awarded based on the following: excellent academic results, good industrial backgrounds (if any), and have strong recommendations/testimonials.
